[SOLVED] after upgrade - plymouth The plugin label.so is missing

when I run update-initramfs I get a strange label.so is missing output ...
I have not installed any plymouth themes so far

sudo update-initramfs -u

dont know if all this plymouth stuff is needed or if something is missing here ...


it seems installation of plymouth-themes and plymouth-label package breaks the system I get a black screen instead of sddm login screen
also a fresh installtation (w/ stable .iso) shows a black screen after installation (tested in a Vbox) ...
