I use the following commands in konsole:
      pkrefresh
      pkupdate
I also used Discover, which shows 28 updates available, however, it stalls while fetching updates.

The issue is having pulseaudio installed. Pulse and pipewire conflict with each other; certain core packages expressly have "conflicts" tags, specifically these updates that are trying to install.

You should not have pulseaudio installed unless you did so yourself, or you installed something that pulled it in for some reason.

As usual, I lost the link but someone had installed an equalizer for their old version of Strawbery or something, which used Pulse, but was no longer needed by the app. So the fix for them was to remove pulseaudio.

But Pulse and Pipewire can't coexist.

used the following commands to update:
              sudo apt update and
              sudo apt full-upgrade
they worked and the issue is resolved. I learned that in KDE Neon this is the best and most effective way to update.
Thanks to everyone for your comments.
