Very odd.
The issue seems to be with translations:

I just got Open CL turned on for my new Arc B580 GPU. The test was failing. Then, a bit of pebcak (NOT mine!!): enable the setting, then restart Digikam, and test again. It passes. THEN restart once more to see all the check boxes working. Does it actually work, though? I have no idea.
