How get PiP windows stay in forefront permanently?

After getting a solution in this thread, I found a similar issue with PiP of i.e. Youtube videos. In Wayland they don't stay in forefront. When I tape Alt+F3 I can give window rules. However, I haven't found out how to manage only the PiP window is in forefront the whole time. Instead the browser itself got on forefront.
How can I manage that correctly?

I just found this description that provides the solution - mostly. Now PiP windows stay in forefront.
However, I haven't yet adjusted the size. I could give fixed position and size values. But that isn't optimal with short videos in portrait mode; only with normal videos in landscape mode.
In Linux Mint / vivaldi browser short videos automatically fit in the right horizontal position but with encreased vertical size compared to normal videos.
    Is that understandable?

That 4 year old Reddit post your last link references is what I have been using for...4 years

PiP Windows are permanently on top, though, which I actually prefer. I had to use "Force" back then, I don't seem to need to now, and I used all window types, which also might not be needed today.

Just resize the PiP manually by dragging corners, it should remember these, even shorts vs normal YouTube as far as I have seen.

In X11, it is just as I want it to be: the reserved space is the width of my browser sidebar. A short video in portrait format respects this width and takes up most of the space vertically. A normal video also respects this width but remains in landscape format.
In Wayland, however, this is not even close to being the case. It is buggy, or at least in need of improvement in this area. When I adjust a short video to the width of the sidebar, the appearance is initially the same as in X11.
But when I then switch a normal video to PiP mode, this widescreen video takes on the height of the short video and fills 2/3 of the screen accordingly. It therefore has to be manually shrunk and moved to the appropriate position.

I assume that Wayland, as a newer desktop interface, is still in its infancy and still has a few bugs. To avoid jumping back to X11 prematurely, a workaround for the problem described would be very helpful.

I don't know. It is not a new issue, and not specific to Linux, or necessarily even Wayland. As far as I can tell reading some docs, and if I am correct in my understanding, the height is the saved dimension, which implies that this is the desire behavior from Mozilla. But I am sure I am likely incorrect here.

I seldom pop out Shorts or similar videos, and when I do the size has been agreeable to me. I pop out normal videos almost daily, and I have been using Wayland for ~ 4 years, I think? At lest three, for sure. Never noticed this before, and only after messing around, then closing all FF windows and opening new ones. It seems to remember for a while.
