[SOLVED] How to delete sticky note on desktop?

Don't know why, but I have a sticky note (postit, in american) on my desktop and I have no way of deleting it. Right-clicking does not offer that possibility.

What writes these things and how do I stop it completely, in addition to deleting one note?

    Thanks in advance.

When you hover your mouse cursor on the note, doesn't a configure menu 'fly out'?
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007

You have to click and hold for a moment for the sidebar thing to pop out

Not by default, though you can enable that somewhere

That was it. Hovering, even with ctl or something, does not help. Why not?

          In any case, thanks.
