    kworker using too much cpu

    kworker is using so much cpu, 50-80%, that the system has become sluggish.

    Code:
    100865 root 20 0 0 0 0 R 64.8 0.0 3:08.80 kworker/0:1+kacpid
    For info,

    $ uname -a
    Linux jon-desktop 5.15.0-52-generic #58-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 13 08:03:55 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

    This is persisting across reboots?
    When did this start happening?

    kworker indicates kernel threads, but I can't see any mortal-human ways to determine what is going on. It seems to be acpi related.

    THIS may be relevant, or at least have links that may lead to relevant info to begin investigative work.
