    Just noticed this:

    yes, though I am not sure why. These are just some of the debs that normally reside on the ISO, for offline installation of things like dkms, etc for wifi drivers and the like
    It can be removed, and the files deleted, if desired.

    I have seen this in Kubuntu installs before, as well
