    fatal failure to load

i am generally a fanboi about stuff and generally have little or no problems with a distro except in the case of a lot of people having the same problem.

However, for one of the few times in my use of Linux I have had a total failure to load, I posted what happened at the KDE Neon thread at KDE if one wants to view it, otherwise not much whoop, the operative part is that with the failure this is what was observed after the initial attempt to boot:

With no warning except that prior to a reboot I could not make a new folder because of "permission denied".
    upon reboot
The first screen with KDE Neon symbol and 5.7.95 appeared and then this appeared with white text on a black screen at the top left.

    [ 36.586450] brcmsmac bcma0:1: brcms_ops_bss_info_changed: qos enabled: false (implement)
    [ 36.586501] brcmsmac bcma0:1: brcms_ops_config: change power-saving mode: false (implement)
OF NOTE is that there are two "repair options" provided by pressing the ESC key on the reboot!!
