Here is the playlist for 94 videos just about LibreOffice BASE, and includes a LOT of info on SQL and databases in general. It's the best set of Tutorials on BASE I've seen yet. He also has a ton of videos on other topics, like switching from Windows to Linux, reviews, etc.

Word of warning: Do NOT activate pooling for the default DB, HSQLDB. If you do you will be unable to edit any tables you created!

Another tip: You can use the Wizard Report Design tool but if the Create Report Design tool isn't active then its because you didn't install Libreoffice's Report Builder addon.

Also, LO using HyperSQL 1.8, which is way behind the 2.4 release. You can install the 2.4 release as an independent SQL engine and then point LO to it. Fewer crashes and more DB power.
