Google Chrome with netflix and Chromecast

I downloaded the Google Chrome browser from here:

    https://www.google.com/chrome/browse...top/index.html

and installed the .deb package that downloaded to my computer. I got v. 39 of the Google Chrome Browser, which included the WideVine CDM and Pepper Flash (PPAPI) modules required to play Netflix (using HTML5).

This is the first time I have been able to play Netflix natively in Kubuntu Linux without Compholio's Wine configuration (which I've used for quite a while). Playback is fast.

I happen to have a Chromecast module plugged into my TV, and by adding the Google Cast extension to Google Chrome, I am able to stream Netflix to my HDTV through the Chromecast. I have no playback hiccoughs (even on my very old laptop) and playback is smooth! Wow.

Of course, I have my libnss modules upgraded to the newest versions (which are available in the backport repositories, even for Precise).

I was not able to do the same with Chromium without a tremendous amount of effort (to install the required modules).

This is a painless way to stream Netflix through the Chromecast and I like it.

Right now the killer is being surrounded by a web of deduction, forensic science,
and the latest in technology such as two-way radios and e-mail.
