    FAQ: Time Format

Time format is in the "Language, numeric and time settings for your particular region" (System Settings/Control Centre)

    KDE 3.5

With the KDE3.5 it is possible to right click the clock > Date & Time format > KDE Control Module pops up > Time & Dates > Time format

    KDE 4

    K > System Settings > Regional & Language > Time & Dates > Time format

    Note that:
Changed language (and time) settings apply to newly started applications. To change the language (and time settings) of all programs, you will have to logout first.

    More clocks

With the KDE 4 there are more than few clocks. Here is a one with adjustable time format:

    > Adjustable Clock
    Description:
Plasmoid to show date and time in adjustable format.
Developed and tested on KDE 4.1.2

    Links:

    > Mother lode, KDE-Look.org > Plasmoids
    > PPA (Personal Package Archives for Ubuntu) >> Show PPAs matching: Plasmoid
    > Topic: Install (almost) any plasmoid
