    Envy 0.9.5 released 22 June, installs new Nvidia 100.14.11 driver

    I just ran it successfully on my Kubuntu Feisty 32-bit / GeForce 7900 GS installation. There were some missing packages that I needed to install, to fulfil Envy's needs:

    fakeroot
    python-glade2
    python-qt3
    dh-make

    Your mileage may vary.

    glxgears increased from about 11,000 to about 16000 fps, by the way ....

    I don't mind the re-installing All makes for a learning experience. Thanks for your help.

      I get 10000 fps in xgl, not very accurate is it, we need a good bench marking app for linux

        Well the problem is, on what hardware platform? I can benchmark my machine and my graphics card, using some application that I think is relevant, but what does that mean to you?
