I have just installed Feisty Fawn Amd 64 and had a problem installing my printer Epson Stylus D78, KDE showed a limited amount of printers.
I got over this problem by making sure that gimp-print was installed (You actually have gutenprint 5.0.0. installed)
Then install foomatic-db-gutenprint (make sure you use the gutenprint one) this gives a larger choice of printer drivers to choose from in KDE.
If you are trying to install the Epson Stylus D78 it works with the D68 drivers.
Would it be good idea to install foomatic-db-gutenprint at the same time as gimp-print?
