I see there's a drop-down menu allowing to change the notification type for specific threads on the subscriptions page. Apparently I didn't have "instantly" selected in my settings when I started the thread in question. Now I've changed that specific subscription to "instant notification" so maybe I'll get an email if there are any new replies.

In my general settings I ask for notification "instantly, using email" for replies to my subscribed threads. The email address in my profile is correct, but I haven't been receiving any notifications.
