kynaptic root password request

After logging into kubuntu, a window appears wanting me to give the root password to start kynaptic package manager. after entering the password, the report comes that the -s option is not supported or something like that

i recon there is something wrong with the startup file and that kynaptic wants to be started with the -s option.

where do i look to see if i can remove the command?

try kcontrol > KDE conponents > Service manager > startup services

i get to sercive manager.. but startup services is not there ?

wierd, but strangely enough, i dont have the problem at startup anymore
