Can't modify my contact list!

In KaddressBook or Kontact I can't modify nor save my contact list.
When i try, a message says:

Resource "/home/xyz/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf" is blocked by application "".

This has happened after some crashes of Kontact and Kmail. I know (after having had the same problem on Gentoo Linux) this can be solved by copying and renaming the std.vcf file, and telling KaddressBook to use the renamed one; but i'd like to know if anybody had a way to remove the lock on the original .vcf file.

If you look in ~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/ you'll find a subfolder called "lock". Try groping around in there.
