Dolphin crashes when choosing "Properties" of the root folder, "/". What can cause that? Thanks.

2) What version of KDE are you using?

Kubuntu 9.04. Not sure about the others. But those that are built-in to 9.04.Comment

Here Kubuntu 9.04 / KDE 4.2.4. ( > FAQ: Version info ) the root properties seem to work.

How to enable apport
Apport is not enabled by default in stable releases, even if it is installed. There are two ways to enable it....Before you edit, BACKUP !

I reported a dolphin bug about crashing when opining samba shares bug # 201368 and was referred to this link https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=185551.
I beleive it has something to do with strigi. I think some Packages that I installed caused Dolphin to Crash.
This is just a tip maybe someone with more experience can help.Comment
