    kdesudo bug confirmation request

I noticed that when I run 'kdesudo <program_of_choice>' from the terminal and enter a wrong password, kdesudo just hangs (I seem to recall it used to inform about a wrong password and prompt for the correct one).

Before submitting a bug report, I'd like to get a confirmation of this (so I can be sure it's not a configuration issue on my end).

I'm on Jaunty, but information on how it behaves on other versions is also appreciated.

    Re: kdesudo bug confirmation request

    With the Jaunty:

Kdesudo + wrong password, terminal -> hangs, no warning of the wrong password.
Kdesudo + wrong password, alt+f2 -> no warning of the wrong password.

On the next log in there is information:
    Information - KdeSudo

    No command arguments supplied !...

    With the Gutsy:

Kdesudo + wrong password -> Sorry, try again.

    Before you edit, BACKUP !

      Re: kdesudo bug confirmation request

Ok, so looks like confirmed on Jaunty (and working on gutsy)...I'll file a report later.

      Anyone with Intrepid KDE4?

On the next log in there is information
This is probably due to restoring previous session, krunner has probably left the kdesudo process hanging which kde tries to restore in the next login (unsuccesfully).

For some reason I couldn't upload this 26KB pic directly

I can confirm the Jaunty issue as well.

In 8.04.2, kdsesudo, then wrong p/w, you get another chance to enter the correct p/w, repeatedly, until you enter the correct one. Not a problem on 8.04.2 (the new released 2-21-09).
