    Kubuntu Won't Boot

I just installed the Kubuntu Flight 4. There were no snags in the installation, everything went fine. When I remove the CD and reboot the machine, I get the following display:

    Booting 'Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.15-15-386'

    root (hd0,4)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
    kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.15-15-386 root=/dev/mapper/Ubuntu-root ro single
    [Linux-bzImage, setup-0x1e00, size=-z153514]
    initrd /initrd.img-2.6.15-15-386
    [Linux-initrd @ 0xb9c1000, 0x62ebd8 bytes]
    boot

At this point the boot freezes, it does this everytime i reboot the machine, when I try recovery mode it does the same thing. I even tried reinstalling it from a different install cd, and once it was finished it still did this. Any ideas
