    about what linus said

    http://www.osnews.com/comment.php?news_id=12956
"Without tip-toeing around the matter, Linus Torvalds made his preference in the GNOME vs. KDE matter quite clear on the GNOME-usability list: "I personally just encourage people to switch to KDE. This 'users are idiots, and are confused by functionality' mentality of Gnome is a disease. If you think your users are idiots, only idiots will use it. I don't use Gnome, because in striving to be simple, it has long since reached the point where it simply doesn't do what I need it to do. Please, just tell people to use KDE." Also, "Gnome seems to be developed by interface nazis, where consistently the excuse for not doing something is not 'it's too complicated to do', but 'it would confuse users'." Update: More of the discussion here."

i have to say i'm really agree with linus post
and im a lover of kubuntu proyect
i have to say im a little worried about que "impovements" made to konqueror on last relace "breezy", it was completly simplified as gnome way, i dont whant to say that its bad, but i'm worried because cant se an option on konqueror to see all the options

i love kde because is 100% configurable, please dont take that, if you try to simplify kde, please add an option to have de original settings, don't remove feature, add more

an other way, coud be a package with kubuntu setting o kde settings, both can provide a dependence for "kubuntu-desktop" package , but you cant install bouth of them

kubuntu team, remember que real nice thing of open source proyect is allow the user to choose, if we are going to simplify desktops until every one has the same one, please tell me and i will start using windows, because i started using linux because i loved all the options of kde

i have 3 years using linux
    please consider my post
    thanks
