Apple Power Mac Running Kubuntu Problems

Hello.

I recently installed Kubuntu along with Mac OS X on my G4 Power Mac and so far most things work. However, there is one problem which I wanted to ask about:

When I start Kubuntu, as kde is loading, I get a low battery alarm, where it says the battery has a -2147483... % charge. This isn't a laptop, so there is no battery. Is there a way to stop this message from comming up?

Hello, I am also running Kubuntu on my eMac G4.
To stop the low battery message from displaying just right click on
the battery icon in the task bar and click disable, it will ask if you want it to
start next time Kde starts so just click no!
