If this is a joke, it isn't funny.
If it isn't (a joke), well, really. How about (if you really have no friends or family) getting access to a telephone, calling a local computer shop and have it delivered?
What does a forum community that's spread all over the globe have to do with it?

I am sure that we have members in the UK that might be able to help a long-time forum poster......

Oh well. What part of the UK, then?
I have family in Cambridge... but even then, if you can't speak... it's not going to be an easy matter is it.

Maybe you could... write a note for a nurse, slip them a tenner... or something.

Not trying to be insensitive, just realistic sort of.

I'm working on it, we have folks in the UK willing to help, I just had to ask the overall Kubuntu community

Check your personal messages, or email if it is easier:

I'm in Bristol (UK that is, since there are several Bristols stateside) using Neon. However could download Kubuntu iso to a usb if that would be of any help.

Haven't looked at magazines for years so will have to see if any have iso's included
