    Mozilla flamed by Firefox fans

Mozilla flamed by Firefox fans after promises to not sell their data go up in smoke

Open source browser maker ties itself up in legalese and explanations
I'd already migrated all my bookmarks and passwords over to Brave before they changed the wording!
I kind of prefer Brave anyway so I may kiss FF goodbye!

Brave has built-in blockers and security...

I have problems with FF and Youtube anyway.

The online articles caused a panic when Mozilla changed the wording of the terms of services which when read properly complies with the legal nonsense of the word "sale" in california law, not the actual sale of your data. They are not actually selling your data.

But are they trustworthy? Brave's hidden links with Microsoft when it launched are hard to forget.

That's important, but it's things like that that herd users towards Chrome or chromium-based browsers.

By the looks of it, Brave uses Chrome as its base. I have no use for Google's Chrome or Microsoft's Edge. Google knows too much already.

My default search engine in FireFox is DuckDuckGo, not Google. I tried Brave but it doesn't have the addons and extensions that FireFox does.

So many users panicking over a non-issue. I would much rather use Firefox with uBlock Origin over any chrome-based browser and feel safer doing so.

Like anything else, "it depends". I do prefer FF, but at times Chrome behaves better with certain sites. Either, or, anything else, just be careful what links you click on no matter the browser.
