Hey! When the system updates during reboot (also called as offline updates), it just shows a bar with a percentage. I think it can be improved. There can be a logo of Kubuntu, and a text saying "System is updating, do not turn off the PC". We can take idea from Fedora. Also it'll help new users to understand what is actually happening.
