Why using the Cloud is a bad idea.

Although the error appeared to be a technical glitch, the fact that Google is capable of identifying "bad" Google Docs at all is a reminder: Much of what you upload, receive or type to Google is monitored. While many people may be aware that Gmail scans your emails — for instance, so that its smart-reply feature can figure out what responses to suggest — this policy extends to other Google products, too.
And worse, based on what you write in YOUR OWN documents and perhaps for your own personal use, they read those documents and decide if they want to block or cancel your account.

In other words, Google, like Twitter and Facebook, has weaponized their platform against POV's that are not aligned with their own. Fortunately, they cannot assess fines and prison time like the IRS, FBI and the BLM, which were weaponized during the previous administration. All they can do is suspend or cancel your account. People are rapidly learning that Google, Twitter, Facebook and the other social sites are not the only games in town. And, considering how cheap Linux hosting is, one can create their own "cloud", which they can access from anywhere on the planet with an Internet connection. Documents can be encrypted before they are uploaded and all work is done on them locally.
"A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”
    – John F. Kennedy, February 26, 1962.

Yeah, I saw that one, too.

That is really bad, and anyone who has any sort of personal, private, corporate secret,, and any other confidential information, should immediately cease any relationship with a data center that is not your own.

Unless that anyone just doesn't care.
