The talking head reviewers and complainers and fanboies( of which I am one) talk about the "obvious things" of Linux...
But, it's the simple things that really are important for the long haul...
Like.....
In my 16.04 install....
the driver for my ancient and long in the tooth HP Laserjet 6P.... nowadays talking to the metal with usb/parallel adapter....
is ... hpcups 13.6.3
But when the Gregman gabbed it off the beltways and let me have it for a few synthrum....
now sadly passed:
I still have the driver name taped to it on a stickynote that is positively nasty....... lol..
was...hpcups 3.12.2
It really is the unsung heros who take care of all those simple things that keep me happy!
