Yes these do run linux, but they are slooo oo oo www if any multitasking is involved. I am using my imx53QSB as a media player using the Lucid image that works on it - working graphics drivers on this particular board are not available that provide good video playback

I don't yet recommend these as desktop devices right now, but they sure are cool!
