I think this is pretty cool. The Krita team is raising money to allow a very talented European student programmer (who has done fantastic work on the project before, and continues to do so) to work full time on Krita for 3 months (as opposed to finding temporary employment elsewhere). If you can donate 10 or more dollars, it would help to support a fantastic project, and really let the team know how important their work is to you, free software, and the world at large.
Considering the many thousands of dollars worth of their own time these people are volunteering already, it's the least we can do.
