    [Software] Cannot adjust column widths in System Settings

    I never noticed before so wondering if this is new, a bug, or just something I missed.

    I opened System Settings this morning and wanted to widen the left columns so all the text isn't truncated but neither left column allows me to resize it.

    The left pane isn't resizable. The entire window can be, but has a maximum 'minimum size' overall. Here, none of the entries in the left pane show any truncation.
    Windows no longer obstruct my view.
    Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

      I'm on 4K monitors with 14pt fonts instead of scaling up. There aren't a huge number of truncated menus, but there are some. Examples:

      Left column:
      Window Manage...>
      Application Permis...>

      Second Column:
      Activation Shortcu...>
      Color Bilndness C...
      Window Decorat...>

      and a few more.

      Seems like it would be a small thing to allow that adjustment. Probably still off the developers radar since it's likely related to the screen resolution. I've been "battling" 4k vs. 1080p issues for quite awhile. KDEneon uses the "Breeze" theme for the GRUB boot menu and it's so small as to be nearly unreadable. I had to customize the theme with bigger fonts so it looks normal. Doesn't seem to be anything in the .conf files that changes anything.

      I found this in systemsettings.conf in my .config folder:
      Code:
      [QQControlsFileDialog]
      favoriteFolders=@Invalid()
      height=0
      sidebarSplit=125.55000000000001
      sidebarVisible=true
      sidebarWidth=80
      width=0

      I changed it to this but no effect:
      Code:
      [CODE][QQControlsFileDialog]
      favoriteFolders=@Invalid()
      height=0
      sidebarSplit=165.55000000000001
      sidebarVisible=true
      sidebarWidth=120
      width=20
      [/CODE]

        I just discovered that file does not exist in a new install so it must be left over from the previous version of KDEneon. The file is dated 1/24/2024
