Plucky Upgrades are Disabled for the Moment

    If you are running 25.04, then you are okay to do normal package updating.

    sudo apt update
    sudo apt full-upgrade

    You can always simulate the full-upgrade if you have any doubts.

    Upgrading packages isn't the same thing as upgrading the version of Kubuntu. The issue currently is upgrading to 25.04 from the earlier version.

      Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

        Looks like upgrade to 25.04 have been re-enabled. Got the notification about 10 minutes ago.
        Challenges are what that keeps us from the borderline of boredom in life's journey. Linux user no. 419401 currently running Kubuntu 24.04
