[SOLVED] Dualboot Installation MInt + Kubuntu without Ubuntu Bootloader

    Hello
I already have an LM 22 installation and would like to add Kubuntu on a separate SSD to get to know it better, so that I can help less experienced users in my environment if something gets stuck.
How do I configure the Ubuntu installer to omit the GRUB installation, so that I can integrate it later from the Mint OS prober?

if you have it on a separate SSD i would just let it install how it's going to install and then go from there.

your grub for LM22 should detect the presence of kubuntu and offer it on the menu.... if not you may need to configure it to run OS_PROBER one time to find it.

The issue has been resolved. I had read the description of Ubiquity in the Ubunutu Wiki, but the paragraph “Procedure” obviously didn't make it into my brain. I now know what to do.

And that is (for the benefit of anyone else who might find themselves in a similar situation)?
