auto updates

I had set use offline updates in system settings as it said better stability. but it did restart my system i think when I was sleeping and not using the pc. is their a way to schedule a system restart or should i have updates applied once per week? and it wont restart when Im using it right. i have it set to auto install updates


what is automatic reboot without confirmation? it will still reboot at 6am if i set automatic reboot time to 06:00 right?

just uncheck the offline updates option an you are in complete control of when it restarts... just don't forget that applying updates only applies them to the files on disk and does not apply them to the libraries running in ram, so if you want be sure to be using the updates then you need to restart.
