Hello everyone! I am having a problem while logging in plasma. My problem is that when I enter the login password, the screen gets stuck there for about 3 minutes, maybe more. I have been facing this since I first installed nordvpn via command line according to the instructions of the nordvpn website.
I am correlating this issue with nordvpn because I found a workaround that had been working consistently until recently. That was having the killswitch activated and logging out of my nordvpn account before shutting down. This way after entering the password the plasma would start in seconds. I would then disable the killswitch or login to my nordvpn account and everything would work fine. Now after a system update this workaround stopped functioning.
I believe it is somehow network connected but I can't find a solution. Reading similar threads here and in askubuntu, I saw a couple of solutions, but that included some command line commands that I did not understand what they do, or if they were safe.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Thank you in advance!
PS: I am running 24.04 LTS fully updated.
