On Kubuntu 22.04 the installer had a check box for "third-party software for graphics and Wi-Fi hardware and additional media formats". On 24.04 there isn't one. Does it now install all the multimedia codecs by default or do I have to do it manually after installing?

the haruna media player come preinstalled and has all the codecs, you can install VLC on top if you really want to make sure.some stuff i did: https://github.com/droidgoo
