Discover fails to update unifying recever

Today's update is completed except for the unifying receiver update. I tried several times but it would never do it. No error message. Maybe the package is borked? Why is there no error message and is there a log someplace that might tell why so the devs can fix it? No prefix since none of them seem to apply as this seems to be a system problem which I think should make it a priority.
Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

Some vendor firmware seem to not like this, so try it manually

In the journal log and/or syste, log. You can use KSystemLog to view and search. Use 'fwupdmgr' as a keyword.

it is a known thing in Discover, not tied to any distro.

My SSD drives can not be updated because apparently, EFI can not update in legacy mode.

I must be missing something. If you're using Legacy mode, why is updating the UEFI firmware necessary?

If we could get more details, it would help a LOT. Actual messaging from the terminal or whatever.
But will we ever see any?
