    [SOLVED] unable to install ksysguard

So after upgrading to 22.04 from 20.04, all my icons were present & accounted for. Earlier Today some program locked up and I was unable to close it. I clicked on the icon for ksysguard to isolate and manually stop the program.
I encounted an error, program not found (Or words similar)
I opened muon to install it, and got an error, unable to install, Click image for larger version Name:	Kubuntu-ksysguard-could-not-be-marked.jpg Views:	47 Size:	27.3 KB ID:	670139

I tried konsole and got this error
Click image for larger version Name:	Kununtu-ksysguard-not-installed.jpg Views:	45 Size:	65.0 KB ID:	670140

    Any Suggestions?
Or is the usual "Wipe & install again" in order. Honestly I thought Linux was better than M$ Windozs. At this rate, spyware and something that works would be better than all the issues I've encounted, and asked here.

Ksysguard was removed and replaced with System Monitor.
Constant change is here to stay!

Most of it is Jammy, but there is a 'focal'... Is this normal or is this an error?

Bummer. I can't find it, or google an install for it. What is the package called please?

It's called plasma-systemmonitor, both the executable and the package name.

That would be odd if it's not in a jammy install, it's a standard part of KDE plasma. Is the file /usr/bin/plasma-systemmonitor there?

As Beerislife wrote: Ksysguard was removed. It was not a decision of Kubuntu to replace it with Plasma-Systemmonitor, but of KDE for the newer Plasma/Gear versions.
It is not advisable to install Ksysguard in 22.04, because its dependencies are no longer present in the *Ubuntu repositories (e.g. ksysguardd), its dependencies will break others and it is no longer maintained. The only "clean" way to install it in Kubuntu 22.04 would theoretically be in a containerized solution like distrobox (with 20.04).

http://au.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal InRelease is an error - you should remove/comment out the "focal" lines from /etc/apt/sources.list or /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ .

Yep !!!. It's in MUON, after I search for the correct name... Oh. It was installed already. I've found it and replaced the "Quick Launch"?? ICON with the systemmonitor
