The Plasma 5.18 style of menu is still available, but you will need to download the widget:Originally posted by Russell View PostAny way to change the Application Launcher style on 22.04 to like it was on 20.04?
Right click on the desktop >> add widgets >> get New Widgets >> Search for 'legacy', and install the Legacy Kickoff.
Then right click on the menu icon, select 'Show Alternatives' and then choose the Legacy kickoff.
There are quite a large number of different menu widgets to choose from, it might be worth checking a few out.

Thank you so much claydoh, you just saved me from doing a fresh installation of Kubuntu 20.04. Very happy to get my "legacy" launcher back.Originally posted by claydoh View PostRight click on the desktop >> add widgets >> get New Widgets >> Search for 'legacy', and install the Legacy Kickoff.

But I kinda went the same route, when the menu changed early last year. I actually tried out a few different options, but ended up ........switching back to the current default menu instead of the Legacy one, lol.
