[RESOLVED] Disable this annoying upgrade warning

22.04 is a Long Term Support version. Why do I need a pop up every time I log on to remind me that I have a mere 2 1/2 years left to upgrade my desktop?

How do I disable this annoying distraction?

There is a setting section for this in the Software Sources tool, which is located in Discover's settings section, as well as in Muon Package Manager's menus.
Normally, LTS are not supposed see this message for non-LTS upgrades, unless they upgraded TO the LTS from the previous non-LTS version. Or you have found a bug.

/etc/update-manager/release-upgrades is the file containing the "switch"

At the bottom it will say "prompt=XXX" Change XXX to "LTS". If it already says that, you may hove found a bug

Thankyou both. It wasn't a bug, it was set to normal in the update-manager settings
