    Screenshots

May I ask how you guys take screenshots in Kubuntu? I see there are many ways, default keyboard, special package, custom, keyboard mods, etc. (apologies ... been with Kubuntu since I think 2007, never had occasion to need a screenshot; I may have goofed around a time or two, but that's all) -- something simple, but allows basic edits (cropping, marking up, etc.). I see Gimp can be used for it, too.

"PrintScreen" brings up Spectacle. I wasn't really aware there were other options, although I hadn't ever looked. Spectacle works great IMO.

Spectacle is the stock tool with others also being available - Ksnip, as well as flameshot are nice and popular ones.

Thanks. I had Flameshot on my list, also, but haven't looked at it. Seems like Spectacle is a 'mainstream' choice around here.

Spectacle works well with this forum. You can take a screenshot and drag it into the attachment section.

May be late on response, but I use Shutter. Now updated and maintained.
