Can't get to Configure Software Sources page in Muon Package Manager

But Neon doesn't provide any proprietary driver management, it does not intend to, and is out of the scope of the project. (unless KDE themselves develop a cross-distro driver manager tool, which is extremely unlikely)

yes, Neon is 18.04 in terms of packaging and Ubuntu-ness.

And package names do not always equal command/binary names.

Just for the sake of knowledge/discussion... the thread/problem is [SOLVED] anyway...

(shouldn't it say "but it can be installed with")...

In 18.04 you install kubuntu-driver-manager, which puts it in System Settings, instead of a tab.
Yes, Neon does NOT include Ubuntu's driver manager software, As it is Ubuntu specific you get whatever is available in 18.04. Software-properties-qt is not available in Bionic. It wasn't around in 2018.

Still, while I'm at it (yeah yeah, I'm keeping at it ;·) - it's (still) unrelated but.

The whole thing seems to be a bit of a... failing, in neon. It doesn't have a driver management utility. If you use software-properties-kde, it doesn't have a driver tab.
So to manage drivers - AFAIK - you have to install software-properties-gtk, which does have it.
Software-properties-qt you can't install.

~$ sudo apt install software-properties-qt
E: Unable to locate package software-properties-qt

Boohoo. On my neon (Testing) they aren't. Software-properties-kde doesn't have a "drivers" tab. Software-properties-gtk does (and runs without sudo) and

software-properties-qt: command not found

On Neon, this is correct, as on 18.04, this was the layout. The new software-properties-qt was not introduced until later. In any case , It is not a KDE/Plasma program, but is Ubuntu-specific, so Neon does not package this, or have it as part of a normal install.

In 20.04 kubuntu-driver-manager simply launches software-properties-qt, with the driver tab pre-selected, and Breeze theming (instead of fugly default Qt).

Should I be worried/concerned about the issue with libkpimsmtp5abi1_19.12.3-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb ?

Left the laptop on overnight. This morning I ran: sudo apt update followed by sudo apt install -f which 'fixed' a number of packages and completed without any errors. For good measure, I then ran sudo dpkg --configure -a which immediately returned the prompt (nothing needed doing). So sudo apt install -f (after the package cache update) seems to have fixed this issue. I then ran sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade and got:

I see. So it wouldn't have worked.

Still... I'll be totally obnoxious ;·) then. Software-properties-kde is not "the exact same program". It hasn't got an "Additional Drivers" tab.
Software-properties-qt and software-properties-gtk do.

[EDIT] Just to be totally, completely, utterly and... whatever you choose... obnoxious: -kde and -qt require superuser to run, -gtk does not, it authenticates on changes :·)

Ah I see what I have not clarified. The tool in Muon is the exact same program, software-properties-kde. It is also used in Discover. Synaptic will also use it.

The Driver Manager tab simply displays and installs any proprietary drivers. it does not manage sources, that is what the Other Software tab in the Software Sources tool is used for.

In 20.04, I open System Settings and choose "Driver Manager". It opens an "external application" - it says so - called "software-properties-qt" which looks like... the first screenshot in my previous post.
Of course, it opens it at the "Additional Drivers" tab. But if you click the "Ubuntu Software" and "Other Software" tabs, it lets me change the sources, and I was wondering whether it would let Snowhog do so too, so if it was a problem with Muon or the "software sources" themselves.
