I reinstalled Kubuntu 19.10 and then Upgraded to 20.04. I didn't have a copy of 20.04 so I just did the upgrade route. It took several tries until I finally remembered why Grub kept failing to install and that I had to use KDE partition manager to create the boot drive because the installer won't let you select advanced settings to set the number of sectors to the next size for newer tech large size SSD's so Grub has enough room to install. I don't know why my system wouldn't boot correctly but now everything works correctly except for you tube.com For some reason none of the links work properly until I refresh the page. I am guessing Firefox has a bad setting or something. I suspect my initial problem was probably some kind of corrupted update that muon didn't catch for 20.04.
Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.
