Ref: KDE, Kubuntu Focus and Techpaladin introduce “Bullet Proof KDE”, a KDE suite with three years of support

1. Does one get this only with a fresh installation, or does it come in with an upgrade to Kubuntu 26.04 LTS?

2. Is there a way to identify; to know; that you do have this?

Plasma 6.6 is LTS. There is nothing extra to be done.

Some bug fixes and security patches are much better than zilch on a 'long term release" distro variant
This is far better than it was when there were official LTS releases of Plasma.

I *was* wondering why Plasma 6.6 was still getting point releases......


If Debian were smart, they should consider making an exception and moving Stable to 6.6 from 6.3. Unlikley, I bet.
