I see the notification that upgrade to 25.04 is available and from what I read it was halted in April due to bugs. Is it now ok to do the upgrade?

Yes, Ubuntu turned them back on, hence the notifications. Seems to be fine, from the lack of many mentions of issues.Self-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon

I upgraded. Had to disable phased updates so I could get apt to update reported packages, but after that, upgrading was without any hitches. Took quite awhile; nearly two hours.Windows no longer obstruct my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

I didn't actually time it, but it was definitely more than an hour, from the time I issued sudo do-release-upgrade to when it was ready to reboot into the new system.Windows no longer obstruct my view.

I was just yanking your chain...
I suppose if you had a lot of stuff installed, it might take some time. Mine updated rather quickly, but it's a VM and a minimal install.

Upgrade time probably is causing extra load on some of the specific mirrors people are being sent to.Self-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
