Booting live CD on a powerbook (mac)

How do I set up my powerbook (MAC powerpc) to boot from CD?  I want to run Kubuntu Live Breezy.

Also is there any risk of messing up my mac OS 10 by doing this?

To get your powerbook to boot from the cd, reboot your machine and hold down the "c" key while it is rebooting, this should enable you to boot from cd-rom.

Also since the live CD doesn't actually install anything on your harddrive, and runs by allocation of ram memory, your OSX install should not be affected.

If on the off chance the "c" key trick doesn't work here is a link to an apple support page that gives alternate instructions for booting from cd:

    Hope this helps...
