I checked in KDE settings under joystick and Cosmic is detecting it. When I try to configure it in the Steam for Linux client, steam can't detect it. Is Linux not communicating with the steam client?

Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

This commandOriginally posted by oshunluvr View Post2016, but maybe relevant? https://askubuntu.com/questions/6862...roller-working, followed by a reboot did it. Once I was in the game I switched to a gamepad in the options and now the game works. The camera won't work but everything else does. I am hopeing it's just a matter of selecting the correct controller configuration in steam.Code:sudo apt install steam-devices
Thanks oshunluvr, you nailed it.

Nice to see the Kubuntu and Ubuntu forums work well together, and quickly.
