    Regional settings - spellcheck language different from system lang

    Hi,

    I'd like to know if it is possible to set in regional settings the spell check language in a different language than system language. For example, I'm more used to the system set to English, but my native language is Portuguese, but since the system is configured to be displayed in English, I don't have the option to set Portuguese as language for spell checking.

    In the Formats tab, region is already set to Brazil. In Translations tab, if I select English as for main system language, the option for Portuguese spell checking automatically disappears from the Default language drop-down menu in Spell Check tab.

    Any hints?

    There has been a regression in Plasma5 (compared to KDE4) that has made configuration of locale settings much more inflexible. This bug report details much of the problem (mostly to do with date formats but it affects language settings too):
