installing, upgrading from iso in daily-live/current ftp directory

Hello all,

I was looking forward to seeing a Kubuntu 16.04 beta along with the other 16.04 betas, but that hasn't happened yet. If I install from xenial-desktop-amd64.iso in http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/current/ will apt-get update work normally if future releases are designated beta or rc?

Yes. The most you would have to do is update the repositories (apt update) and run apt full-upgrade. Eventually, you might want to add the backports repo.
