    Hardware Temperature Settings

I built a new computer. I had some trouble with the original heat sink, so I purchased another one (ARCTIC Alpine 20 Plus CO CPU Cooler - Intel LGA2011, 92mm PWM Fan, 24/7 Operation at 24dBA, if anyone cares), and it is working beautifully. In testing both the old and new sinks, I installed and used km-sensors. I'm now confident enough about how the system is working that I no longer want "Hardware Temperature Settings" cluttering my task bar. How do I get it off? If I right click on it and then click on "remove this panel," I get a dialog box asking if I want to remove the plasma desktop panel, which of course I don't.
Or perhaps I do. If I remove the panel (assuming I can get it back), will it come up as it did right after installation of 14.04, which leaves me free to repopulate it?
    Thanks in advance.

I believe somewhere in system tray settings there's a tick-box list of what's displayed or not.
