My brother has a Zoom play from Microsoft and wanted me to see if I could charge it. Nothing seems to happen when I plug it in. can I install something that is legale to at least let it charge (USB)?

Zoom player? Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be. Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

Zune players started working in ubuntu back in 2012 according to google. It's entirely possible they don't any more, however. I guess it's a kernel version issue.

They stopped production of the Zune in late 2011, so I wouldn't be surprised if nobody was working on getting them to connect to current versions of anything.--
