    Bouncy URL in Chromium

    Watch the screen capture below. This is me typing in Chromium's URL bar. Notice how the characters jump up and down as I type. Weird! Anyone else have this problem?

    Yes. I have it as well. I assumed it was something I did to my desktop settings. I was playing with effects awhile ago. My Win7 box does not do that.

      Same here. Disabled desktop effects and it still happens.
      Linux because it works. No social or political motives in my decision to use it.
